This Privacy Policy explains how Tricity Shops ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile app and website.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, age, and phone number (verified by OTP) when you sign up. Optionally your email if you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Order information — items you purchase, delivery addresses you save, and payment status. Card/UPI details are processed by Razorpay and never stored by us.
• Content you create — posts, comments, reviews, photos and messages you choose to share in the app.
• Device information — device model, app version and crash logs (via Firebase Crashlytics) to keep the app stable.

How we use it

• To create and manage your account and process your orders.
• To show you nearby stores and relevant products.
• To send order updates and reply notifications.
• To prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
• To improve the app using anonymised analytics.

What we never do

• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
• We do not store your card, UPI or banking details.
• We do not share your phone number with other shoppers.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) with role-based security rules, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to you, the store fulfilling your order, and authorised support staff.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile in the app at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and data — see our Delete Account page.

Children

Tricity Shops is intended for users aged 13 and above.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
